Yesterday was an amazing day. We were supposed to do herb gardening with our local homeschooling group here at our house, but it was raining. I postponed it until Monday.
About an hour after I canceled, the sun came out! Go figure.
Anyway, we decided to have a "Flower scavenger hunt". We walked all over our neighborhood and collected 21 different kinds of flowers! It was so much fun! Everyone had a little basket and even our kitty Confetti followed us around as we looked for flowers.
When we got home Ivy fell asleep and Devin and Tiffany (Dakota changed her name to Tiffany) drew the flowers they had found. It was so cool to see them enjoying themselves drawing and discussing the different types of flowers. It was a really fun morning.
