Today Joe headed to the Boston area to see Slayer and Marilyn Manson with his good buddies, Chad, Steve and Mitch. He is such an amazing husband and father and I was so thrilled for him to be enjoying one of his passions in life, live metal music.
We will all be sleeping when he comes home at 2 or 3am tonight, so I look forward to hearing all about it tomorrow! I expecially can't wait to hear about Marilyn Manson!! Neither of us have seen him perform before and we hear his live performances are insane!

Dad went to the Slayer show, very cool. Make sure you and your husband stay metal. Too many metal warriors have been lost to marriage and family.

I personally do not believe that metal warrior's are "lost" to marriage and family itself. Marriage and Family will never be the "cause" of someone not liking metal anymore. It is usually another factor like the spouse not approving of the metal music or something. Also, everyone changes and some people's tastes change. To each his own. ;)
I think that marriage and family should be all about supporting eachothers passions!

I have wanted to see MM for years. My favorite album is Mechanical Animals, but his older and newer stuff is pretty good, too. I've also heard that his shows are intense. Every time I remember to look up his schedule he's either overseas or between tours. One day though! Did Joe have a good time?
