There is nothing like celebrating a birthday at Disney World! Orion had hist first birthday there with all of us by his side, enjoying such a special day...
My Mom bought him a cute pair of Baby Mickey ears.. No trip to Disney would be complete without them!

No, we've never done the cake-mooshing thing with our kids. None of them have been into solids enough at a year to eat cake anymore than a bite or two.
Disney World is one of our favorite places on Earth! Our son had a wish granted by Magic Moments in 2005 and they sent us to Disney World, Sea World, and Universal Studios. Cody loved spending his 5th birthday there and we've made a trip back once a year since. We're hooked!
