Devin's Engine

Last Christmas Devin received an Engine to build in a very detailed kit. Shortly after receiving it he put about half of it together and then lost interest. It sat on a shelf in our craft room for about 10 months.

The beauty of living this amazing life is that the kids have the freedom to start and stop projects and interests without penalty. They are able to allow their interests to flow authentically and start and stop projects in a way that suits them perfectly.

Today Devin finished his Engine. He was so proud. So much learning took place on a time table that was completely catered to what he wanted to know, when he was ready to learn it. This is genuine, free-range learning! I am so grateful to be able to give our children this incredible gift!

I love this life!
