My New Vision Board

A vision board is a visual representation or collage of the things that you want to have, be, or do in your life. It consists of a poster or foam board with cut-out pictures, drawings and/or writing on it of the things that you want in your life or the things that you want to become.

The purpose of a vision board is to activate the law of attraction to begin to pull things from your external environment that will enable you to realize your dream. By selecting pictures and writing that charges your emotions with feelings of passion, you will begin to manifest those things into your life.

This is just the start of my new vision board. Creating another one was very empowering. It's been over 3 years since I made my first one. Everything that I truly desired came to me from that first vision board in one way or another. I'm so grateful to have learned about this awesome tool years ago.

I won't get into details of everything that I chose to add to my vision board. Some of it is symbolic and known only to me and my family. Some of it is more obvious. I loved the process of getting a visual on some ways that I want to expand and experience my life. It looks so pretty hanging on the wall too. I love it!

Dayna, you inspired my family and I to grab a poster board and a big box of very colorful sharpies in the middle of our shopping the other day. I have been itching to do something exactly like this, to have images that represents our dreams that we want to come true.

My sister will be printing out photos I found, and I will be hunting out magazines that has stuff that brings out particular emotions and ideas. I'm excited! Thanks for telling me about this tool. I am slowly learning more and more about LoA and I love it.

Dayna-
I've recently found myself feeling a bit discouraged and while searching online for some much needed refreshment, I came across your book and the link to your blog. Just seeing this post was encouraging; it always feels so amazing to find like-minded people. We too just completed our vision boards for our family, as well. My extended family thinks we're all crazy (us free thinking tree-huggers; lol).
I intend to bookmark your blog and visit whenever I can!

We are completely alone where we live but was encouraged to see on your list that there is some unschooling support nearby in Rochester. I'll be checking into that, as well. Thanks!-Amber of Little Falls, NY

funny how popular these boards have become again now. i have one in writing at the moment and will have to get some pictures on it/another board. no helped that hubby nocked the board over and broke it - a piece of wood came out of it. keep up the board. nice to meet you via fb fan page/friend page.
